Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung,Bali, Indonesia. The south east side of the larger 10×13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The caldera is populated and includes the two main villages of Kedisan and Toya Bungkah. The locals largely rely on agriculture for income but tourism has become increasingly popular due to the relatively straightforward trek to the summit of the central crater.
The lake, Danau Batur, is the largest crater lake on the island of Bali and is a good source of fish.

This is a great place in bali island, there is a very good restaurant near the volcano with the windows open to this magical landscape.

Now we are going to azores!=) Azores is in the midle of the Atlantic Ocean.The Azores ( is a Portuguese archipelado , about 1,500 km (950 mi) from my city Lisbon and about 3,900 km (2,400 mi) from the east coast of North America.

Some people believe the islands could be the mountain tops of Atlantis.

Atlantis is a legendary island first mentioned in Plato's dialogues Timaeus and Critiass

This photo is in Pico, is one of the midle islands of the Azores noted for its eponymous volcano, Ponta do Pico (Pico Alto), which is the highest mountain of Portugal and also the highest elevation of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. I think this is one of the most peaceful places on earth and a great adventure to explore.
